As a full time Staffing Director of Pharmacy with Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) over St. Luke's Lakeside and Springwood's Village Hospital, you will oversee all pharmacy operations at St. Luke's Lakeside & Springwoods Village Hospitals , including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs. You will also perform staffing duties at St. Luke's Lakeside, which include filling orders with accuracy and checking technician-prepared products before release with a staff of Pharmacists (1 full time & 5 per diem) and Pharmacy Technicians (2 full time & 5 per diem). In addition, you will oversee St. Luke's Springwood's Village Hospital, a 10 bed surgical hospital staffed by a full time Pharmacist.
About the Facility: St. Luke's Lakeside Hospital is member of the CHI's Health System…a 30 bed hospital dedicated to providing comprehensive heart and orthopedic care including 13 pre-op/post-op rooms, four operating rooms with capacity for expansion, two cath labs, and diagnostic imaging including MRI, CT and Nuclear Medicine. If you do not have copies of the vaccination/immunization records for the following, please schedule an appointment with your local clinic as soon as possible to have them completed if you are offered employment with CPS.
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of NEGATIVE Tb skin test within the last 12 months…AND…a TST booster within the last 90 days
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella - - TWO (2) documented doses…OR…A Blood Titer proving immunity
- (Chickenpox) Varicella - TWO (2) documented doses…OR…A Blood Titer proving immunity
- (Tdap) Tetanus/Diphtheria, Pertussis
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1 st -April 30 th
- Hepatitis B - (not required; highly preferred) THREE (3) documented doses…OR…a Blood Titer proving reactive status
- Respirator FIT Mask Test

- Current TX license in good standing
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy leader in a hospital setting
- Recent work experience as an acute care hospital pharmacist
