Manages inpatient pharmacy and designated supporting professional and technical staff. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws, regulations and standards regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services.
Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy and a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience with 5 years of experience in a progressive hospital pharmacy. Must possess an active Florida Pharmacist license. A consultant pharmacist license required within first year of employment.
Must work well with individuals from other healthcare professions. Effective written and oral communications are essential. Individuals with pediatric, information systems, and previous hospital experience who have an advanced degree with be given preference.
