The outpatient Oncology Pharmacist Clinician is an advanced practice pharmacist responsible for assuring optimal drug use outcomes in high-risk, high-cost, complex cancer patients. The Pharmacist Clinician will apply specialized knowledge of pharmacotherapy to direct patient care, teaching, consultation and research activities. The pharmacist clinician will participate as a member of the ambulatory care oncology team and will provide clinical leadership through policy development and program oversight. Potential job responsibilities include oral anticancer medication interaction screening, monitoring, and side effect management in collaboration with providers.
