The Director supervises the Enterprise-wide pharmaceutical expense management initiatives and management of the Mayo Clinic Pharmaceutical Formulary activities of Mayo Clinic. The Director will be responsible for the administration of national contracts done directly with suppliers or through the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) for pharmaceutical supplies, distribution agreements, services, and equipment, facilitation of bid preparation, coordination of data collection, performance analysis, and support of the Mayo Pharmaceutical Formulary Committee (MPFC), it's subcommittees and taskforces.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of ten years’ progressive experience in pharmaceutical operations, distribution, and/or contracting. Pharm.D. or B.S. (Pharmacy) required. Must hold a state pharmacist license or be eligible for licensure.
