Epic Application Coordinator – Pharmacist
ProHealth Care’s Information Technology Division seeks an experience Pharmacist (Oncology) for an exciting new role as the Epic Application Coordinator. This individual will be versed in pharmacology regarding drug usage, interactions and dosage, while having a strong interest in the technical aspect of analyzing, building, testing, and implementing support activities in Epic. The ideal candidate will have the desire to set back from direct patient care to developing Epic solutions for pharmacy oncology staff.
Hours: Monday - Friday normal business hours with additional hours as needed. Requires some flexibility to work varied hours when needed.

Responsible for the analysis, build, testing, implementation and support activities for multiple designated applications, including Epic - Beacon. Ensures the system furthers the enterprise’s goal of excellent patient care as well as supporting ProHealth Care’s quality initiatives. Epic Pharmacists work with other analysts and members of the ProHealth Care Epic team to maintain an integrated medical record that supports the vision of “One Record. One Patient.” Ensures adherence to the standard system while working with subject matter experts, champions, and super users to resolve issues and work toward a common goal. Working closely in a matrix environment with principle trainers and others is crucial for success.
- Pharmacist (PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy), licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of WI, or eligible to become licensed.
- At least 2, with 4 or more preferred, years of related technical experience.
- Experience working as an inpatient pharmacist.
- Flexible to work on call per team's rotation.
