The Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor is responsible for supervising Clinical functions of Pharmacists, Technicians, Students with respect to patient care with physicians. Responsible for the coordination of pharmacy clinical programs involving pharmacist training and success of their patient care services. Coordinates drug research under Augusta Health policy for investigational drugs. Could be recommended to serve on the local IRB. . Provide in-service education to pharmacy staff, physicians, nurses and other populations as assigned or when need is identified. . Makes therapeutic appropriate recommendations for nutritional therapies. Follows patients' daily nutritional progress and documents interventions and progress in the medical record when consulted.

Experience Requirements Graduate of an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY-1) residency or equivalent experience Residency Program Director experience preferred
License Requirements Licensed by the Virginia Board of Pharmacy to practice Pharmacy Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy required or within 3 years or employment
Skills Required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and technical skills
Skill Desired Prior experience in a leadership capacity is preferred.
