Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC) is accepting applications for a 0.8 part-time clinical generalist pharmacist.
Responsibilities: The clinical generalist will provide pharmaceutical care services to the patients of PRMC & Parkview Hospital Randallia. Services include, but are not limited to, oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing, and proper documentation of patient medication therapy, as well as advising physicians on matters pertaining to drug usage and control within assigned hospital locations and providing drug information, patient information, and oversight of information and dispensing processes and systems. Common clinical practices include dosing and monitoring anticoagulants, vancomycin, TPN, and others. Additionally, most of our clinical positions round with our hospitalist and intensivist teams.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution and have completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency or have equivalent hospital practice experience. Pharmacy licensure in Indiana is required. Candidates must have a high level of clinical practice skills, enthusiasm for teaching, and the interpersonal skills needed to interact effectively with students, health professionals, and patients. Critical Care PGY1 rotations preferred.

PRMC, a member of Parkview Health, is a major regional medical center located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It provides comprehensive medical services to patients in northeastern Indiana, northwestern Ohio and southern Michigan. PRMC is a tertiary medical center currently with 446 beds (all private) and is a Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center.
