Clinical Specialists Critical Care at UPMC Pinnacle are responsible for medication-related issues for Medical-Surgical Critical Care and Emergency Medicine patients.
Candidates will work closely with the pharmacy leadership team, medical staff, nurses and fellow pharmacists in planning, implementing and assessing various medication-related programs within their specialty area(s).
This includes serving on hospital committees, organizing educational programs and providing patient care activities in a decentralized/unit-based model in both Critical Care and ED settings.
The position requires eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania and experience in a progressive hospital setting. The individual must possess excellent communication, organizational and planning skills as well as a high degree of personal motivation.
