Our PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program has been conducted at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, CA since 2002 and at Clovis Community Medical Center in Clovis, CA since 2016. Our growth into a multiple-site program provides a foundation for competency-based education, a wide range practice experiences in diverse practice settings, and increases opportunities for residents to obtain experience in areas of interest. We are currently seeking a PGY1 Residency Program Director (Pharmacy Resident Student Coordinator) to further develop and implement our accredited residency in clinical pharmacy practice. The PGY1 Residency Program Director develops and implements an accredited, multi-site residency in clinical pharmacy practice for Community Medical Centers. This position provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of pharmacy residents' and students' development and competency training. The Program Director actively promotes, facilitates, and participates in pharmacy resident and student educational activities and promotes the generation of new knowledge relevant to the practice of Pharmacy. Additionally, this position maintains Community Medical Centers' current affiliations and collaboration with pharmacy training programs at UCSF, UOP, and CHSU.
Experience and education minimum requirements:
Bachelors degree in Pharmacy
Three (3) years experience in hospital pharmacy practice.
License and certification minimum requirements:
Valid State of California Pharmacist license.
Pharm D. and completion of AHSP accredited residency program or advanced degree.
