Pharmacist, Emergency Medicine - Part Time
Provides pharmaceutical care to critically ill or ED patents according to expert judgment and LRH policies and procedures. Work within the scope of Pharmacy Laws and Standards of Practice to maximize benefit to the patient while minimizing associated costs.
Functions include rounding as a member of the multidisciplinary critical care team, if applicable, and to provide pharmacotherapeutic management for all ICU/ED patients, responding to resuscitation events, and coordinating the development and implementation of drug therapy protocols to maximize benefits of drug therapy. He/she must identify opportunities for and contribute to the improvement of quality, safety, and costs, as well as patient, customer, and employee satisfaction.
PGY2 residency trained in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care
Doctor of Pharmacy from ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy or equivalent
Eligible for Florida Pharmacist license
Active Florida Pharmacist license preferred
Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist or Board Certified Critical Care Pharmacist preferred
