CLINICAL STAFF PHARMACIST - FULL TIME EVENINGS MERCY HOSPITAL & MEDICAL CENTER CHICAGO, IL
As a full time, evening shift Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, you'll evaluate and interpret orders, compound, and dispense medications according to written orders/prescriptions issued by an authorized prescriber. You will also identify, prevent, assess and resolve medication-related problems to ensure a safe and optimal patient outcome and promote, through criteria based protocols, clinically rational drug therapy and sound pharmaceutical care. This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week; 8 evening shifts from 3pm to 11:30pm, and includes working every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday), and may occasionally provide time off coverage for other shifts as needed.

The Mercy inpatient pharmacy is open 24/7 with a hybrid centralized/decentralized staffing model and is supported by centralized and decentralized automation products.

• Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD) • IL licensure in good standing • Completion of a PGY1 residency preferred • 2-5 years of inpatient pharmacy experience in an acute-care setting strongly preferred • Must be able to start working on a Monday (start dates are twice per month)
