Upon graduation from the program the resident qualifies to take the Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) board certification. The program is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists in partnership with the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy.

Humana participates in the National Residency Matching Program (the "match") and adheres to all rules associated with the match process. Candidates interested in applying for Humana’s residency must apply to the program by submitting an application via PhORCAS and be participants in the National Residency Matching Program. Curriculum vitae (CV)
Three professional letters of recommendation
PharmD (eligible for PharmD upon graduation in spring of 2020) with official university transcript from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
Letter of intent (500 words or less): "Why you are pursuing a managed care pharmacy residency and what you hope to gain from Humana’s program?"
*Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state or jurisdiction in which the program is conducted (Kentucky).
