To provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care for all patients of the hospital according to professional standards and state and federal legal requirements. Staff/Clinical pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies, and provide drug information. Staff/Clinical pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy supervisor/director, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy supervisor/director.
BS or higher Degree from accredited School of Pharmacy Current Pharmacist License from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
Graduation from accredited Pharmacy School.
One year pharmacist experience preferred but not required.
