Under the direction of a Staff Pharmacist, assists or supports the pharmacist as needed in all aspects of efficiently dispensing medication, providing accurate service, preparing invoices and bills, ordering and maintaining drugs and medical supplies.
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent is required.
SKILLS: Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical medical supplies and medical equipment required. Effective verbal and interpersonal skills are required. Basic computer skills are required. Familiarity with medical terminology, basic math and reading comprehension skills are preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Must maintain current registration with the NM Board of Pharmacy
EXPERIENCE: One year experience as a pharmacy technician, six months in retail customer service.
