LIU Pharmacy invites applications for full-time faculty at any rank (Full/Associate/Assistant Professor) in inpatient general medicine and various acute care areas to join its Division of Pharmacy Practice. Position may be non-tenure or tenure track, based on experience. The College of Pharmacy is committed to excellence in scholarship, service, and teaching. Successful candidates will join other faculty members who are responsible for precepting most of the advanced pharmacy practice experiences. Faculty responsibilities also include didactic teaching, maintaining a clinical practice in their specialty area, and providing service activities which support the College’s Mission and Vision. Faculty members are expected to build a portfolio of scholarly work within his/her area of interest.

Applicants must have a PharmD degree, and have completed at least two years of post-doctoral training, or have comparable experience. Candidates should have a demonstrated record of scholarly pursuits and of teaching/precepting. Applicants must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, in the state of New York.
