Pharmacists successfully completing a PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Residency at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota will be proficient practitioners providing advanced pharmaceutical care to transplant patients. Required clinical learning experiences include: Orientation, Heart Transplant, Lung Transplant, Kidney/Pancreas Transplant, Liver Transplant, Research/QI, Teaching/Preceptorship, and Transplant Ambulatory Care. A host of elective experiences each tailored to the resident's interests are available, including but not limited to:
Mechanical circulatory and support device
Transplant infectious disease
Transitions of care
Vascular composite allograft transplant
Research project and online staffing required.
