The position is at Mayo Clinic, at Methodist Hospital Campus in Rochester MN. Previous experience required includes a general practice residency with specialty residency training in Hematology/Oncology or equivalent experience in Heme Onc. Responsibilities include drug therapy monitoring, rounding with multidisciplinary Heme Onc teams, medication order review and verification, teaching, medication reconciliation, anticoagulation management and participation in emergency response teams. The position is facilitated by full electronic medical records with cutting edge clinical pharmacy informatics designed for pharmaceutical care. Teaching includes multispecialty team members, as well as Pharmacy Students and Residents (PGY1 and PGY2), and precepting and mentoring Heme Onc PGY2 Residents. We have clinical pharmacy services 7 am-11 pm, Monday-Friday and 7am-3:30 pm Sat-Sun. This position rotates weekends and holidays. Salary is based on experience and training.
