This position is in the Central Inpatient Pharmacy at Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN. The Inpatient Pharmacy utilizes highly automated, state-of-the-art drug distribution systems. PGY-1 residency and/or previous hospital experience preferred. Responsibilities include drug therapy monitoring, medication order review and entry, code response, sterile and non-sterile product checking, shift supervision of technician staff and students, medication reconciliation, and providing pharmacy expertise in the pharmacy call center. Some patient areas covered include OR/anesthesia, outpatient/ambulatory surgery, orthopedic/trauma, emergency department, outpatient dialysis, labor and delivery, and outpatient infusion therapy center.
This position rotates every 3rd weekend and covers two major holidays per year. Salary is based on experience and training.
