Novo Nordisk-HOPE Fellowship in Value Evidence and Outcomes Research
Novo Nordisk and Rutgers’ Health Outcomes, Policy and Economics (HOPE) program are partnering to offer a two-year fellowship in Health Economics and Outcomes Research. The fellowship combines applied industry experience at Novo Nordisk and academic HEOR training through Rutgers HOPE. The Fellow will be responsible for conducting real world evidence studies in support of the evidence generation plan for an assigned product while working closely with the HEOR portfolio lead under the direction of the Real-World Data and Analytics team. The Fellow will be leading specific HEOR research studies to support product strategy focused on diabetes and obesity and will gain valuable experience in engaging with cross functional teams, leading research projects, coordinating/managing research vendors, & budget management.
The Fellow will have the opportunity to participate in leadership training as well as conference-based learning. The program provides a solid foundation for a career in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, pharmacy benefit management, or consulting. Coursework towards a Certificate or Master of Science in HOPE is a formal component of this program. Competitive stipend, tuition remission, medical and dental insurance, vacation and sick days are provided.
Must have a PharmD or anticipated PharmD in May 2020 to apply. Prior experience and/or introductory training in HEOR is preferred including coursework in economics, statistics, public health or analytics.

Interviews will be by invitation only and will be pre-scheduled before the conference.
