This is a one-year ASHP accredited PGY2 residency in critical care. The program is designed to develop and refine clinical, research, and teaching skills within critical care.
Clinical experiences include: medical ICU, surgical ICU, trauma/burn, cardiac medicine ICU, cardiovascular surgery ICU, neuro ICU, solid organ transplant, nutrition support, emergency medicine, infectious diseases, and more.
Additional experiences include precepting and teaching at UM College of Pharmacy, research and writing projects, code blue experience, clinical on call, and more.
We aim to prepare the resident to be a highly qualified candidate for Clinical Pharmacist, Clinical Track Faculty, or Adjunct Faculty positions.
