As a member of the Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy leadership team, this Coordinator is responsible for assuring that the Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy Clinical Program is planned, organized, and delivered in a manner that meets the needs of MUSC patients, physicians, nurses and staff. The Coordinator champions inter-functional collaboration and communication across work areas and Departments to support the Ambulatory and Specialty pharmacy practice. With the Department Director and other Managers, he/she is responsible for the clinical pharmacy initiatives and services for the patients of the Ambulatory and Specialty Pharmacy Program. The Coordinator has control over all of the human, financial, and information resources allotted to his/her pharmacy cost center(s).
Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelors's Degree in Pharmacy and three years as a registered pharmacist. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.
