The Department of Pharmacy Practice of Mercer University College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, 12 month, non-tenure track faculty position of Ambulatory Care. Rank will be determined based on the credentials of the final candidate. The main responsibilities will be to teach in the Doctor of Pharmacy Program in both the didactic and experiential components and to develop a clinical practice at a large health-system ambulatory care clinic in a northern suburb of Metro Atlanta. Additional, responsibilities include didactic and experiential teaching of pharmacy students and responsibilities in service and scholarship are required.
The College of Pharmacy is located on Mercer University’s Cecil B. Day Campus in Atlanta, GA and is one of four academic units within the Mercer Health Sciences Center.
1. A Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy is required. 2. Specialty residency training at the PGY-1 and/or PGY-2 level; a PGY-2 residency in ambulatory care is preferred. 3. Eligibility for pharmacy licensure in Georgia.
