This is a one-year ASHP accredited PGY2 residency in Psychiatric Pharmacy focuses on clinical service, research and teaching.
Clinical experiences will be tailored to the individual's areas of interest with required rotational experiences in general adult, consult-liaison, emergency and child/adolescent psychiatry as well as longitudinal general adult psychiatry clinic. Elective rotations may include general neurology, pain/palliative care and geriatrics.
Research, writing and presentation skills will be developed through the completion of a required project, continuing education lecture and associated manuscript as well as research manuscript.
The resident will have an adjunct position at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy with multiple teaching opportunities.
