Playing a vital role in the health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) department at BD, the fellow will have the opportunity to gain valuable and unique experiences by working with different teams to drive strategic evidence generation to help offset access and reimbursement challenges encountered with various payers. The fellow will work cross-functionally and will be integrated into the study design process to support the role of HEOR. Furthermore, as the fellowship takes on a global responsibility, the fellow will become familiar with health care systems outside the United States. In addition to contributing to the generation of HEOR scientific data, the fellow will learn how to leverage HEOR evidence in order to demonstrate the clinical and economic value BD’s products bring to diabetes care.
