The residency program at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer center is designed to provide advanced and focused training in hematology and medical oncology. Required rotations include adult ambulatory care (5 months required), inpatient adult and pediatric hematology/ oncology, investigational drug service. Various elective rotations are available to facilitate the resident's understanding of the complex care of patients with cancer. The residency is designed to promote critical thinking and practicing at the top of a pharmacist's scope.
Applicants must possess the Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an ACPE accredited program
Applicants should be eligible for licensure in the state of Florida and exams take prior to the beginning of the beginning of the residency program
Applicants must complete an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
