We are currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for the Inpatient Pharmacy at Clovis Community Medical Center, a 208-bed acute care hospital located at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and part of the Community Medical Centers healthcare network. Join our team at a time of unprecedented growth! Clovis Community is expanding pharmacy services through 2022 when we will open a second bed tower with 144 private rooms, including 24 ICU beds, along with an expanded emergency department and 6 new operating rooms.
Community Medical Centers' Department of Pharmacy Services is a diverse and compassionate team of medical experts working to ensure patient safety through evidence-based practices. Pharmacy Services supports clinicians and physicians by providing accurate and timely pharmaceutical care and education.
As a Clinical Pharmacist, your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
Provide for delivery of basic pharmacy services, patient-oriented clinical pharmacy services, drug information and monitoring.
Review all drug orders and check all work completed by ancillary personnel in the department.
Serve as drug expert and consultant to physicians, nursing staff and other hospital personnel.
Provide quality assurance review of drug utilization throughout the hospital for various medical staff committees and the department.
Education and license minimum requirements:
Bachelors degree in Pharmacy.
Valid State of California Pharmacist License.
Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program.
