PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) - 1 position
The Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is a two-year specialized training program designed to prepare pharmacists for clinical and/or operational management positions in hospitals and integrated health care systems. Through directed practical experience, this specialized residency is designed to develop expert skills and competencies in pharmacy practice leadership. We offer a flexible program customized to each resident, but intended to provide clinical, management, research, and teaching experiences. In addition to the core clinical competencies, experiences will include advanced pharmacy leadership, informatics, sterile compounding, regulatory compliance, medication safety, finance, inventory management, and ambulatory operations.
Candidates must be eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of New York. New York State Pharmacist license must be obtained.
