This 1-year pharmaceutical industry fellowship is jointly sponsored by St. John's University, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (Queens, NY) and Allergan (Madison, NJ) and focuses in the area of Global Regulatory Strategy. The fellow will support cross-functional product teams by providing guidance on regulatory requirements for global development and market registrations. The fellow will assist in the preparation and submission of key filings such as Investigational New Drug Applications (INDs), New Drug Applications (NDAs), study protocols, and annual reports. Fellows will also have the opportunity to participate in team preparation and attend health authority meetings. Therapeutic areas include Anti-infectives, Central Nervous System, Women’s Health, Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Additionally, the fellow may have the ability to rotate to other department(s) of interest.
The St. John’s University (Queens, NY) component of the fellowship will provide the fellow with the opportunity to teach didactic courses in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, complete a teaching certificate program, and complete a research project.
