Johns Hopkins Home Care Group Pharmacy Services and the Johns Hopkins University offer a combined, specialty residency and graduate program in community and ambulatory care pharmacy leadership and administration. Residents have the option of completing the M.B.A. (54 credit hours) or M.S. (36 credit hours) program in Health Care Management through the JHU Carey Business School. The residency and academic coursework establish a unique foundation for community and ambulatory health-system practice building upon courses in negotiation, strategic planning, finance, and health policy. The residency experience is diverse including specialty, community, and home infusion pharmacy operations, strategic planning, clinical services management, human resource management, financial management, and robust PGY1 clinical experiences. Candidates must have a Pharm.D. degree, minimum GPA 3.0 and eligibility for Maryland licensure for this two-year combined program.
