The Pharmacy Operations Manager at the University of Kansas Cancer Center is responsible for the day-to-day operations in four cancer center pharmacies. This manager works closely with pharmacy technician leadership to ensure staffing coverage and workflows that support safe and efficient operations. The Pharmacy Operations Manager maintains strong interdisciplinary relationships and seamless communication within the Pharmacy Leadership Team. Responsibilities include process improvement, development of the team and regulatory compliance relating to pharmacy operations.
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
Pharmacy licensure in the State of Kansas and Missouri
Meets at least one of the following requirements:
3 years of practice experience in area of focus OR
completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 and PGY-2 Pharmacy Residency program OR
2 years of practice experience in area of focus AND completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency program
Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, Health Administration or Business Administration
