Reports to the Division Director of the Investigational Drug Service. Is responsible for working collaboratively with the clinical research teams and research leadership to support and provide services for patients enrolled in clinical trials, as well as assisting the Director for the Pharmacy Division with managerial responsibilities. Promotes the safe and effective use of medications by consulting with other health care professionals in addition to supporting the patient care, research and education mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine. Managerial responsibilities include monitoring, recommending, and implementing changes to improve the operations of the department and care to our patients.
Qualifications for this position include graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in PharmD or BS Degree and eligibility for Maryland licensure. Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience is desired. Minimum of one year of hospital experience with responsibility for the supervision of Pharmacy Personnel is desired.
