This one-year fellowship in medical communications is sponsored by MedVal Scientific Information Services and PharmaWrite with a teaching component at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. This program will train and expose the fellow to various projects, including the development of scientific/strategic publication plans, planning/development of educational and promotional programs/activities, and medical writing. As an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at USciences, the fellow will participate in formal educational instruction to PharmD students through lectures and small group courses. An optional rotation is also available either within the ambulatory care setting, the pharmaceutical industry, or medical publishing.

Hold a PharmD
Become licensed in the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (if fellow chooses to participate in a direct patient care rotation through University of the Sciences) by the end of the second quarter
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
