The Christ Hospital is looking to establish a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the Neonatal ICU as the hospital transitions from a level 2 NICU to a level 3 NICU. Responsibilities will include:
Provide clinical pharmacy services to neonatal patients on a daily basis including therapeutic drug monitoring and facilitating pharmacy services to the area.
Develop and document appropriate pharmacy related policies, protocols, and order sets.
Coordinate and provide education to pharmacy, medical, and nursing staff as needed.
Develop ongoing drug use evaluation, drug class reviews, medication value assessments and continuous quality improvement programs.
Serve as a preceptor to pharmacy preceptor to Pharmacy Residents and Pharmacy Students.
Assist with writing, review, and verification of neonatal medication orders and TPNs.
PGY1 and PGY2 residency preferred or at least 3 years of clinical NICU experience.
