Kindred Healthcare offers a unique post-Pharm.D. fellowship opportunity to develop the skills required to successfully lead and manage multi-site hospital pharmacy operations for a national leader in postacute healthcare. With Kindred, you will function as a member of the corporate pharmacy leadership team responsible for oversight of hospital pharmacy services across the organization while completing rotations intended to build leadership skills needed to effectively lead multi-site hospital pharmacy operations. This 1-year fellowship provides a variety of core learning experiences including:
Executive health-system leadership
Pharmacy operations management
Medication use policy
Quality and regulatory compliance
Clinical program development
Finance and budgeting
Sourcing strategies and supply chain management
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to network with senior health-system executives while participating in the Kindred Executive Fellow Program. This leadership development program is targeted at high potential individuals who can be developed, mentored, and grown to become leaders within the organization.
Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Ability to relocate and travel up to 50%.
Program is 1-year and begins on July 1st.
