WHAT YOU WILL DO
Oversee the day-to-day operations of Ambulatory Pharmacy Practices including; Pharmacotherapy Clinics, Anticoagulation Clinics, Refill Clinics and Ambulatory Pharmacy Practices within Franciscan Alliance.
Coordinates staff development, training and analyzing and/or developing policies and procedures for ensuring regulatory and accreditation standards.
Assists with preparation of annual budget, quality assurance programs and performs regulatory audits.
Direct, control and maintain areas of operation.
Maintain responsibility for inter- and intra-department communication, special projects and services.
Coordinate compliance with HFAP, State and Federal agencies for assigned areas.
Promote professional self-development.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
BCACP - Board Certified Ambulatory Pharmacist
Five (5) plus years of hospital clinical pharmacy experience.
Excellent communication skills to communicate with patients, families, staff, and doctors.
Exercise tact and good judgement in dealing with people of varied personalities and maintain good working with other departments.
