The Omnicell Population Health Fellowship provides a one-year experience in Population Health Management that allows the fellow to contribute to clinical and pharmacy practice knowledge to assist with concept/design, development, and implementation of tools and processes that improve healthcare delivery. The fellow will have exposure to advanced data analytics, as well business/administrative considerations in emerging care delivery models.
The fellowship includes scholarly opportunities such as health services research with the ultimate goal of disseminating research findings to inform sustainable, evidence-based, medication management practices.
The fellowship spans 12 months starting in July, and is based in Raleigh, where the Omnicell Population Health Solution division is headquartered.
Provide general clinical support to our technical, marketing, operations, sales, and support teams where current clinical knowledge is needed
Support health plan and pharmacy network program performance
Assist the technical team with feedback around the MTM platform user experience, as well as clinical elements such as medication therapy problems, and medication-food interactions
Contribute to innovation around new products/solutions
Personalized Medication Program support
Work with clinical team to develop and enhance clinical programs
Assist with preparation for system gap analysis and mock audit
Support business case development for new products
Assist with the implementation of multiple elements of our academic and association strategic partnership plans
Serve as APPE preceptor
Work on projects with analytics team
Provide podium presentations
Develop experience with database integration
Assist with writing/updating policies and procedures
Assist with multiple research opportunities
Write content for existing pharmacy campaigns
Provide day-to-day support of pilot programs
Provide continuous update of legislation tracking related to medication synchronization, immunization, provider status, and collaborative practice
Track emerging payment for pharmacist services across all payer channels
Competitive intelligence/landscape analysis for PHS-related product strategy
Required Knowledge and Skills:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school or college of pharmacy
Knowledge of computer hardware and software
Experience with health information technology
Potential travel to other Omnicell sites, conferences, and customer locations
