This pharmacy manager position will oversee the daily procurement and supply chain operations of the system’s largest acute care facility. The position will oversee approximately 7 full-time equivalents (FTEs) including the purchasing and receiving personnel. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, performance management of direct reports, daily management of the supply chain process and associated automation, working in combination with the operation manager and staff to ensure efficient flow of product and services, overseeing supply chain issues to include drug shortages, education of students and residents, leading innovative quality projects and initiatives related to procurement and supply chain in collaboration with other health-care practitioners.
Completion of a PGY-2 in pharmacy administration or equivalent health-system pharmacy experience including a Master of Business Administration, Master of Health Administration, Master of Science in Health-System Pharmacy Administration, or Master in Public Health is preferred.
