Western University of Health Sciences College of Pharmacy is seeking applications for a faculty position in Pharmacy Practice. We seek an outstanding individual who is committed to academic excellence, will participate in an innovative educational curriculum, establish a clinical pharmacy practice for experiential training and patient care, and perform scholarly activities based on either clinical or educational endeavors.
The position is for an Assistant/Associate Professor level faculty (tenure or non-tenure track) in an internal medicine/acute care area of pharmacy practice. The position requires the faculty to develop an innovative clinical practice that provides patient-centered care within an interprofessional setting.
Applicants should have a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college/school of pharmacy and postgraduate training and clinical experience in inpatient practice, with some didactic and experiential teaching experience preferred. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in California and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, clinical skills and teaching skills.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants should submit a letter of intent describing teaching and research activities/goals, curriculum vitae and three letters of reference. Electronic submission of application materials is preferred.
