The Drug Information clinical pharmacist will maintain, facilitate access to and distribute clinical drug information and clinical product evaluations. This will include but not limited to development of drug monographs and medication use evaluations. Additionally, the clinical pharmacist will be responsible for maintaining the system formulary, being an information resource for house staff and educating staff.
Required - School/College of Pharmacy degree
Preferred - PGY1 Residency
Required - 1 year experience in Drug Information, Informatics or similar field
Required - Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Louisiana or eligible for licensure
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.
Knowledge and understanding of the research process including funding, design and compliance issues.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership/teaching skills.
