Description:As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Director of Pharmacy at Rollins-Brook Community Hospital you will supervise and direct the daily workflow within the department while maintaining the security of the pharmacy. You will also fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information and maintain the Pharmacy.
This is a 100% Staffing position and is the only pharmacist working alongside a full time Pharmacy Technician and will be the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC). As part of Metroplex Health System this position will also spend some days working at the Metroplex hospital in Killeen.
Facility: Rollins Brook Community Hospital (part of the Metroplex Health System) is a 25-bed, critical access hospital providing a variety of general and advanced health services. The hospital operates on a strong relationship with the community it serves and is active in community projects and events. Services & Specialties include 24-hour emergency services, Full-service laboratory, General and same-day surgery, Cardio-pulmonary care, Bone Density Scanning, Sleep Disorders Lab and advanced diagnostic capabilities including diagnostic X-rays, CT scans, mammography, ultrasounds and echo-cardiograms for diagnosing problems of the heart. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS).
Pharmacy: This centralized automated pharmacy utilizes CPOE, Talyst, Pyxis and Cerner.

Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
Current Texas Pharmacist license in good standing
3+ years' experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting
Recent hospital management/supervisory experience required (Administrative Residency with 2+ years hospital pharmacist experience will also be considered)
Good communications skills
Demonstrated customer service skills
Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
