The Department of Pharmacy is currently seeking a Heart Center or Solid Organ Transplant Pediatric Clinical Specialist. Day-to-day responsibilities within the clinical specialist model include active participation in patient care rounds, drug therapy monitoring, pharmacokinetic consultations, provision of drug information, drug utilization review, precepting pharmacy students / residents, medication education to patients / families and patient care team, participation in multidisciplinary hospital committees. The Clinical Specialist works Monday through Friday and is part of a rotating week-long pharmacokinetic service.

Missouri Pharmacist Licensure
PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency - Required
PGY-2 Pharmacy Residency (Pediatrics) or 3 years clinical experience – Strongly preferred
BPS Pediatric Board Certification – Required within 24 months
