Based in the Biogen headquarters in Cambridge, MA but having a global footprint, the Therapeutics Development Group (TDG) is the engine of Biogen’s clinical portfolio, working to efficiently and innovatively develop therapies for people affected by serious disorders. TDG consists of Global Clinical Operations (GCO), Analytics and Data Sciences (ADS), and Late-Stage Clinical Development (LSCD). Together, this group supports innovative development plans and trial designs, exceptional clinical study execution, and cutting-edge analytics and data sciences.
The 2-year TDG fellowship is designed to provide a robust, hands-on experience in drug development for global programs across the full development life cycle and therapeutic areas. During the program, the fellow will gain experience in each of the pillars of TDG through 4-month rotations before selecting their area of concentration for the 2nd year of the program to build the foundation for a career within the biopharmaceutical industry.
Late-Stage Clinical Development:
Late-Stage Clinical Development (LSCD) drives strategy, design and execution of innovative clinical development plans and studies to expedite access to safe and effective therapies for diseases with unmet medical needs.
Analytics and Data Sciences:
Analytics and Data Sciences (ADS) brings together cross-functional expertise including Biostatistics, Data Management, Epidemiology, Statistical Programming, and Observational Analytics to enable an integrated and innovative approach to accessing and analyzing data across complex development programs.
Global Clinical Operations:
Global Clinical Operations (GCO) provides operational expertise and rigor to enable world-class execution of clinical trials across the R&D clinical pipeline (from first-in-human through pivotal and post-approval studies).
Additionally, as the first TDG fellow, there will be a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the program.

About MCPHS University/Biogen
Biogen helped create an industry that has touched countless lives. We were among the world's first biotechnology companies, and today we are the oldest independent biotech firm in the world. From the start, when a group of scientists and venture capitalists were united by a new vision for serving unmet medical needs, the company's personality has reflected the multifaceted name of the industry we helped co-found: biotechnology. Biology is about life, about understanding the body's inner workings, about exploring new discoveries and insights to improve lives. Technology is about practical application, about making things work, about developing new products to help people. Biogen embodies both these worldviews. Scientific curiosity and courageous innovation helps us create new and important therapies; practicality makes us successful and vital to our patients. These values extend beyond our laboratories; our aim to discover better ways of doing things infuses all our work, from manufacturing and marketing to partnerships and human resources. At the same time, the practical application of our discoveries is what drives our scientists, as we seek treatments and therapies that can help p...atients live longer and better lives. At Biogen, we are proud of our more than 30 years of contributions to the biotechnology industry and look forward to continuing to shape the future of an industry that transforms scientific discovery into advances in patient care.
