Pharmacy at Geisinger has a long history of clinical practice and continues to be a national leader and best practice model in transforming health care through its integration of pharmacists as a necessary part of the patient care team and systematic medication therapy disease management. Hematology/Oncology Clinical Pharmacist at Geisinger works in a multidisciplinary setting to provide the highest quality of care for our patients on both the inpatient and ambulatory setting. The program offers practice opportunities with medical oncology, hematology, stem cell transplant, ambulatory chemotherapy infusion clinic, oral chemotherapy clinic and clinical research. Pharmacists participate in drug reviews, guideline and policy development, medication use evaluations, nursing in-service and precepting of students and residents.
