The University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy is seeking a highly qualified expert in pain management for a full-time, non-tenure track, 12-month faculty position in the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Administrative Sciences at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor. A significant portion of this position will be in collaboration with UC Health’s innovative pain stewardship program. Overall responsibilities will include didactic and experiential teaching in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, a practice in pain management, scholarly activity and professional service.
Candidates must have obtained a Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited school and must be eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in Ohio. Candidates must have completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency (or equivalent experience). Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a PGY2 residency or fellowship in Pain Management (or equivalent experience). Candidates should have previous teaching experience, demonstrated scholarly activity and competency in process improvement science.

Winkle College of Pharmacy is located on the Health Sciences Campus in close proximity to Cincinnati's Children's Hospital, the Cincinnati Veteran's Administration Hospital, and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, as well as the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Allied Health Professions which facilitates partnerships in teaching and research with the faculty from these units.
