The role of the ICU clinical specialist is to evaluate and recommend appropriate drug therapy to achieve optimal cost-effective patient outcomes, by working directly with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Participate in the development, provision and evaluation of comprehensive pharmaceutical care and quality assurance programs through scholarly activities. Serves as a resource to the pharmacy staff and other hospital departments.
Job requirements include PharmD, PGY1 Residency, PGY2 Critical Care Residency, Missouri pharmacist license with Medication Therapy Services Certification, Board Certification within three years of hire.
