Cleveland Clinic is comprised of a 1,400-bed academic medical center and 17 additional hospitals, including 5 in Southeast Florida. The Pharmacy Manager for Pediatrics would oversee operations at main campus for the inpatient pediatric 24/7 pharmacy satellite and outpatient pediatric infusion center, and would have a mix of pediatric pharmacist and pharmacy technician direct reports. The position would be responsible for improving medication use processes and clinical services, and oversight of safety and regulatory initiatives and requirements for compounding non-sterile, sterile, and chemotherapy preparations. The manager would interface regularly with Pediatric Institute teams as well as pharmacy leadership teams and committees, and would also have student and resident precepting responsibilities.

EDUCATION: • Pharmacy degree with current state license and MS, MBA, PharmD and/or residency preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS: • Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current State within 90 days of hire.
COMPLEXITY OF WORK: • Within the scope of the job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
WORK EXPERIENCE: • Three years clinical Pharmacy experience, including at least one year leadership experience. • MS Residency may substitute for required experience
