This is a key clinical pharmacy position based out of the Banner corporate office in Phoenix. This position serves as a liaison and informal leader between front-line clinicians, information technology staff, and key organizational leaders to ensure the electronic health record supports optimal clinical care and efficient workflow processes across the enterprise. Expected to lead efforts in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of medication-related content in the electronic health record (clinical decision support, CPOE).
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, drug information, health-system pharmacy, and/or pharmacoeconomics. In addition, candidates must have an in-depth understanding of pharmacy workflow and the medication use process. Strong project management and communication skills are essential. Clinical experience with oncology or ambulatory care is ideal but not required.

Advanced degree or equivalent working knowledge in pharmacy. Pharmacy license
Significant experience, typically gained through 4+ years relevant experience - Must have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, drug information, information technology and pharmacy operations. - Must have the ability to collect, analyze, and present data from a variety of sources to facilitate continuous improvement in medication use process initiatives. -This position requires demonstrated leadership and project management abilities. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle a variety of leadership, decision making, and facilitation activities while maintaining a keen attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent oral and written communication skills in group and individual situations is essential. Needs demonstrated facilitation, problem-solving, critical thinking, and human relations abilities.
PGY2 or fellowship in pharmacy informatics. Board certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties
