Clinical pharmacist position within an inpatient behavioral health pavilion located on Community Hospital North campus. Part of a team of 4 inpatient behavioral care clinical pharmacists working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide pharmaceutical care to a wide range of patients from adolescent to geriatric.
Develops and maintains a clinical pharmacy practice with direct patient care activities designed to optimize the pharmacotherapeutic aspects of patient care
Provides documented direct patient care on a daily basis, including core clinical services
Participates in the development, implementation, and quality improvement of clinical services
Provides education to patients/caregivers, health care professionals, trainees and the public
Actively participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of guidelines, policies and standards
Actively participates in professional development activities
Actively participates in performance improvement programs
Participates in orientation and staff development, and serves as a clinical resource including on-call availability
Provides an interface from patient care areas to medication distribution process
Active participant in hospital committees related to practice specialty
Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
Valid Indiana Pharmacist License
PGY1 Residency, PGY2 Psychiatric Residency, or equivalent experience
Strong clinical, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
