DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY - FULL TIME MARLETTE REGIONAL HOSPITAL MARLETTE, MI
Hours: This position is full time exempt salaried (40 hour) a week position. The pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm, and 8:00am-1:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
As a Director of Pharmacy at Marlette Regional Hospital you will staff in a full time basis, with support from the regular pharmacy technician team, take on call approx. 10-15 days a month, and work holidays and weekends-as needed with Casual pharmacist support. You will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team.
About the Facility: Marlette Regional Hospital, an affiliate of United Healthcare Partners, is a 25 bed acute care critical access hospital located in the heart of the Thumb Region of Michigan. Marlette Regional Hospital is accredited by HFAP & provides a full range of health and wellness services in Marlette and off-site locations. 340B compliant facility with a 340B analyst reporting to this position.

Required Qualifications: (DOP)
BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
State Pharmacist licensure in good standing
Management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment.
Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility.
Working knowledge of 340B - Sentry and Capture RX, Cerner, SRS Outpatient, and MedDispense
Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with Professional organizations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.
Hospital Requirements: Flu shot and CPR training certification.
