Assists the Director of pharmacy in managing staff and programs of the Ambulatory Pharmacy Services. Oversees, administers, and coordinates all activities and operations of the ambulatory pharmacy services for the CHRISTUS® Trinity Mother Frances Health System, including pharmacy-managed clinics, outpatient provider clinics, infusion centers and urgent care centers. Develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for ambulatory services and programs. Maintains working relationships with other healthcare professionals and leaders at the organization. In addition, Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for Ambulatory medication management and ensures that the organization meets all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements; and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes, and standards of the organization.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Current Pharmacist license in the state of Texas
4 years' experience with at least 2 years' ambulatory care pharmacy activities (management experience is preferred)
Completion of a PGY1 residency is required (Completion of a specialty PGY2 residency in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy is preferred)
